Good location, close to the 401, staff were friendly. Room above me made loud noises until midnight, remote control for TV was problematic. Lots of food choices around the area. Sliding patio door had ne screen door so options were to open the door and let the bugs in or keep the door closed.

The hot tub was filthy. There was hair floating in it and when the staff were informed, they did nothing. The decor hasn't been updated since it was First Canada Inn. Breakfast was ok. The beds were very uncomfortable

Good location. Staff was friendly and facility was clean. Beds were comfy but rooms smelt musty and tub are tiny and outdated along with the tv and cable opt only. Pool was dirty and not the nicest looking with chipped paint and not enough towels available. The buffet was as basic as it gets and is in the front lobby with not enough seating, there is alot of fast food options close buy for breakfast but when you advertise breakfast included make it decent its the cheapest meal of the day to provide. I recommend adding some muffins and croissants if your not going to provided hot food. Also numerous vending machines were empty or out of service. We stayed on a long weekend when the place was sold out with students coming to the university you would think the place would of been stocked and prepared! Over all the stay was decent but nothing to rave about or return for. It also looked like they have no one attending to ground maintenance here, grass was dead, alot of weeds and no flowers in the garden beds.

My room was not perfectly clean, in that I found hairs from a previous guest in the shower. I had enormous difficulty using the shower, both turning it on (because the handle was somewhat detached from the wall), and closing the shower door once I was in it (because one end of the handle was not attached to the door). This was room 264.

This hotel was ok. Location is very convenient close to highway and lots of options for food around. But the pillows were horrible. The cover on the bed is thin. It is an older hotel so you can’t expect it to be modern. The carpets in the hotel are so worn with stains. We will not be returning to this property. There are other options that are better in this area with the same price.

When we first entered our initial room, it was incredibly moist and smelled mouldy/ stinky. There was also what look to be blood and bugs all over the curtains. I went up to the front desk and the young gentleman working was incredibly helpful. He wrote down all the available rooms and took me on a tour of them to pick which one I wanted.. Unfortunately, all of the rooms on the first floor smelled mouldy and moist. We finally picked the least stinky of all the rooms, we had the air conditioner running while we were out. As soon as we turned off the air-conditioning, a smell of rotting filled the room. We turned the air-conditioning back on and the smell dissipated, but unfortunately, we had to sleep in an icy air-conditioned room all night. Paying over $200 a night for this room I was super disappointed it was gross. As well, one of the mattresses was nice and soft uncomfortable, the other one felt like a hard piece of cardboard. But the staff was very friendly and helpful, and tried to help me however they could, but the building is just gross.
