I recently stayed in Caymanas, St. Catherine, and overall it was a good experience. The area is a gated community, which made me feel very safe—security is definitely on point. It’s quiet, residential, and has a nice community feel, with friendly people around.The host was very easy to reach and responded within minutes, which made the stay even smoother and stress-free.The pool was a highlight—very clean and well maintained, perfect for relaxing.Location-wise, it’s also convenient, not too far from Kingston if you need access to more restaurants, shopping, or activities.My only complaint would be the water fixtures. They seem to be heavily affected by calcium buildup, which made the shower pressure inconsistent and the water not come out steadily from the showerhead.Overall, Caymanas is a nice place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere safe, peaceful, and well-managed, just with a small maintenance issue that could be improved

Excellent Location

Loved the high ceilings. Property was gated which gave a good sense of security. Has potential to be more homey with a few more home decor items. Had the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. Property and neighborhood was quiet and clean. Both community pools were clean and I liked that there was one for kids to use. Would go back.
