"Clean and comfy"

"Great wifi for remote work x2. With two of us working remotely either on video calls or doing data-intensive software engineering all day, we appreciated the TWO quiet desk locations and excellent wifi. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and loads of spices if you don't bring your own like we do. Coffee and snacks available at checkin were a nice touch, and perfect for our late checkin to buy us time to go to grocery store in the morning. Beds and furniture were comfortable, home was well cared for. We brought our own kayaks and the dock wasn't in yet, but it looked like setup and a good group of boats available. My husband caught fish every time he went out. I opted to just paddle and enjoy the quiet."

"We planned a family reunion around the total eclipse of April 8. Though viewing it required a further drive north, this house was a perfect place for our reunion. We were so appreciative and grateful for how well it supported and enhanced an amazing time together all around. We felt very lucky with our choice and its availability! It is remarkably well fitted out. It is especially well supplied in the kitchen; the bathrooms and bedrooms are well supplied too. It seemed that anything we could want or need was there to be found. The house design flows smoothly, enabling relaxed interaction with a spacious common space and well-functioning kitchen. Even with three families including three grandchildren, we had room to spare, never feeling overcrowded. The kids' room is amazing, with the blackboard wall there, well supplied with chalk, a very popular highlight! The kids loved the balcony over the living room, which also enhanced the togetherness flow. Plenty of natural light, while the parents really appreciated the darkening curtains. Lovely, ample views across the very near lake were a joy. The deck overlooking the lake is very spacious, with a convenient barbeque space to the side. Huge garage. The two kayaks, the canoe (and life jackets) are surely a boon for enjoying the lake in the summer, but do require the summertime dock installation for access. The host is very kind and very responsive. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended."

"Room was very comfortable and having microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot was an added benefit. Very quiet so must have solid walls and good insulation. We were very pleased with mostly everything. Towels, coffee, cleaning was not provided one day, but we did not leave room until noon, so maybe services aren’t available after noon. "

"Scam alert!! This was a total fraud. I’m still waiting to get my refund from vrbo and will probably never use their services again at this rate. They told me to wait until half hour before the check in to call them at which time we drove all the way there to find an old abandoned trailer completely unkempt and still never got in touch with the property owners. Beds were mattresses on the floor with dirty bedspread crumpled on it (we saw through the windows) No way to get in the property and the surrounding areas were old trailers trash all over the place. There was no “hot tub” it was all a complete fraud. We are still waiting to get vrbo to help us get our money back. Terrible experience! "
