Another incredible stay at Scarpa's Camp! We came up for the Fourth of July weekend and left feeling completely recharged. From stargazing by the river and catching a beautiful display of the northern lights to relaxing in the hammock and spending hours with our son searching for the perfect rocks, pinecones, and acorns, every moment reminded us why we love coming here.Charlie and his family are truly wonderful hosts. They make you feel right at home, are always happy to help with anything you need, and genuinely care that you have a great stay. The peaceful setting, beautiful property, and warm hospitality make this a place we look forward to returning to again and again. We're already looking forward to our next visit and making even more unforgettable family memories. Thank you for another perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful stay in the one-bedroom cabin! The setting was absolutely beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and right on the Penobscot River. We loved spending our evenings on the dock watching the sunset, and our son's favorite part was seeing the train pass by each day.The cabin had everything we needed, including a kitchen, bathroom, screened-in porch, and a great fire pit for relaxing after a day of exploring. Charlie and his wife were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were always quick to answer questions, provided fuel and firewood when needed, and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area.If you're looking for a comfortable riverside getaway with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again!
