We were fortunate to get room 316, which was recently renovated so the floors, bed and bathroom were upgraded nicely. The room was clean, it had a small sink, microwave and a small fridge as well as a lfat screen TV (although we were out and about and didn't watch it). The beach is literally across the street. The staff was very friendly in the office that was located in the next structure. Exiting the parking lot was a little tricky because the lot by room 316 required you back out to exit, but as long as you go slow or have someone to help guide you you'll be okay.

Somewhat disappointed. We reserved a junior suite, sight unseen, with a garden view. We had no problem with the views of both the garden and the ocean. This was an old-time Hawaiian motel that was not at all what we expected for the price we paid for the room. For a suite, we were expecting a small sofa and/or table and a few dishes, tableware, and glassware. Drapes are outdated. My mistake for not searching out the specific amenities per room. In addition, our room, and especially the baseboards, are in serious need of paint! They look dirty. To top it off, on the morning after our first night, I found a roach under my shorts I left on the floor near my suitcase. Outside, parking is very tight. I really wanted to give a glowing review, but our experience does not warrant that.

Property is nice but to get to the beach you have to run across a busy street. Inside just needs updating. little tiny TV’s , Sliding door really hard to open(after I shut it the first time, I never could get it unlocked and opened again) Parts of the place, bathroom especially, needs to at least be rechalked as there is rust spots everywhere which make it feel dirty. There was a roach, which I never saw anywhere else on the island and I stayed in 3 different places over the 8 day trip. For the price, it was just not as nice as I would expect.

Wonderful stay

Nice beach front cottage. I stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment it was very spacious and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We had a full kitchen and 2 large dining spaces. The front desk crew was very helpful and friendly. I look forward to staying here again.

The front desk ladies were the best! Super friendly and helpful, with plenty of patience to give recommendations about the island. The location was perfectly in the middle of the island, so it was very easy and fast to drive to get where we needed - beaches, the ocean center, stores, restaurants, and even the hospital. The hotel provides guests with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and also coolers. The only downside of the room was the shower curtain being a bit too short, so it was hard not to flood the bathroom when we showered. Still would totally recommend this stay!

The hot tub was residential not commercial, and was out for 5 days, The sliding glass doors opened only halfway. There was no dishwasher. They had great staff, but you could see they were cutting corners

Excellent location and helpful staff, this is an older property with good room size, but it is very noisy with little insulation. Our bathroom window was broken and had to remain open so the noise level in our room was high. Good value for a large room.
