The hotel is super expensive and when we got to the room it was dusty, there were old crayolas lying around, every chair we wanted to sit on (at the pool, beach, etc.) came with an extra cost of $300 a day. The restaurants were mediocre for a $50 salad. Just don’t stay here. Go to the Four Seasons

I couldve had a better experience staying at Grand Wailea. Obviously, the grounds here are amazing to say the least. Everything is conviently located once you've gotten use to how big the place is. Once you've settled in, everything falls into place. This is family friendly resort, if you're looking for something intimate this is big enough where it can cater to both. it doesnt feel crowded. The downside, food. Food here is ok. Nothing to rave about. Even dining at Nobu, yes, its nice, food is great but not for the premium you're paying but at least you get a nice view.

Property is beautiful, room was great, had an amazing view of the ocean. Restaurants were very good, Humuhumu was our favorite! Pool system is huge and a lot of fun! Lot's of kids, so definitely a family friendly resort. We did feel like we got price gouged on everything, and it's not just because it was an expensive resort. We stayed at another similar caliber resort and felt like it was more worth what we paid. Had an amazing time, but I think there are other options that may feel more worth the money!

This resort is ideal for families with elementary and middle school kids. My kids were busy back and forth between the lazy river, beach, The Cave, snorkeling, shows, etc. Just the perfect spot for a family vacation.
