We were unsure about renting this location since there were no reviews, but decided to take a chance. It turned out to be a lovely place to spend a month.The entire home (two units, each with a separate entrance) was clean and nicely stocked with paper goods, dishwasher tabs /dishwashing soap, liquid hand soap in each bathroom and tissues. The showers have wall units with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The kitchens weren’t as well-stocked as we would have liked, given a month’s stay, but we enjoy cooking/eating in, so this may not be an issue for others. We had my siblings and spouse (4 total) staying with us for one week, and the place was just right for all 6 of us. The ground floor unit has 2.5 bathrooms (both bedrooms have private baths). This is where the bedroom with the pyramid bunk is located. The large washer/dryer is in a closet just outside the dining room, equipped with all one would need.Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and one bath (in which there is a stacking washer/dryer). The kitchen seems to have been recently updated. It’s a very well-lit, airy space. Ed was extremely responsive when we had an issue with the electricity (which was swiftly addressed). The home is within short walking distance to Fausto’s (grocery store), restaurants MO’s (Haitian, Creole, Caribbean) and El Siboney (Cuban), and Dairy Queen. Duval St is @ 20 minute walk. Very easy to get Uber/Lyft rides. For great music: Post 168 Am. Legion (Key West Cultural Center)
