Worst room I’ve ever had!! It took 30 minutes to just check in. Then had to drag our luggage up a steep flight of outdoor stairs only to open the door to our room and realize it’s smaller than our walkin closet at our home. Not even a closet in the room. Exterior wood on the building was rotten. We immediately checked out and went to The Opal Hotel.

The room was not what I booked online. I specifically did not want the attic/loft room because I knew it would be hot and the bathroom in the pics was not what I wanted. The room was very damp/ wet and the small window AC unit did not even begin to cool the room. The shower was so small and disgusting that we did not use it. We had to pay an additional fee to park on property that was not explained prior to booking. We wound up leaving the following morning. I asked for a refund for the night we were not staying and the additional night of parking we had to pay for. We were told no. Very very disappointed.

Facility older building, which made it quaint, but baths were small… which was fine, but some shelves would help because there was a pedestal sink, no counter space! Also, no luggage stands, so no where to put luggage except on the floor. Service to rooms every second day, which was fine, but did not replenish coffee supplies and left new towels, but no new wash clothes. For as much as the room per day costs, basic amenities should be taken care of…

Great spot, 1/2 block off Duval Street in the heart of Old Town. Less than a 30 minute walk there everything. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable with a nice pool. Comp breakfast and happy hour.

Gave me a room only accessible by climbing 20 steps.....with NO CLOSET. Also, when I checked in I was hit with RESORT FEES. I am looking into if I knew about them beforehand. This place does have a decent location, but after that it is all downhill. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great location for experiencing Duval and surrounding area. A one minute walk to Margaritaville and shops. Hotel grounds are clean and well appointed as are the rooms. Staff is friendly and customer centered. Nicely landscaped pool area and plenty of places to sit and relax. One caution is that rooms do vary in size. So be mindful as you book.
