Ella’s Cottages is a perfect oasis right in the heart of old town Key West. The location is 10/10, you couldn’t be any closer to the action! The rooms are all in separate buildings, and they are designed beautifully to fit in with the local design and architecture. The rooms are in need of quite a bit of TLC in places and were clearly decorated in a rush, judging by the amount of plaint splattered on the floor in our room. The complimentary breakfast is a real treat and there’s plenty of delicious healthy food options as well as pastries and juices. There’s also a daily happy hour with complimentary canned cocktails in the small bar area. The lady at reception was really helpful throughout our entire stay, she went above and beyond to make our stay flawless. Parking around the back of the property is easily accessible and, although expensive, fairly well priced considering the very central location in the city. We will absolutely be staying again, thank you for a perfect few days in Key West!

The location is wonderful and the breakfast baskets are cute, but the housekeeping services were not great. We got skipped a few times and had to hunt down coffee for our room every morning.

Some poolside seating was more comfy than others, but it's a great area for groups or individuals. Breakfast was a wonderful basket delivered to our front porch every morning with delightful pastries, yogurt, granola, juice, hard boiled eggs, and other yummy accompaniments. Staff was SO friendly and efficient. Bed was comfy. Very walkable to Duval and other areas for shopping, dining and sight-seeing. I'd stay there again.

The check in staff was not hospitable. The pool was not heated, and the couch in our suite was very dirty/dinghy. Location is great and property is beautiful. We had amazing staff at check out. I recommend staying at Winslows Bungalows their sister property. More pool options, bar, and impeccable customer service.

Breakfast was served in a charming basket and included premium yogurt, OJ, cheese and nuts, bagels or croissants, coffee and small immunity elixirs. I spent some time around the pool and loved the music that was playing over the speakers. The staff was very friendly and the neighborhood was quiet despite being only a block away from Duval St.

Very nice location. Closer to the buoy and Blue Heaven. About 15 min walk to Sloppy Joes. Rooms small, but clean. Bed and bedding comfortable. For a long weekend. Ideal. For longer stays the “sweet” room a bit small and tight. But short stay is fine. Clean. Breakfast with coffee nice. Service was great!

This is such a charming property. Our room was expansive and so comfortable. But it’s the delightful paths that meander thru trees and cottages that give this property such charm and delight. The staff was superlative!!! Everything was clean and bright and prompt.
