We enjoyed the pool bar. Service was a little slow as there was only one bartender. He was doing his best it was busy. The king size bed was comfortable, no extra blanket in the room, didnt like the long black hair on the clean wash cloth by the sink or that the glass shower door wouldn't close all the way.

This room and Property is not as they describe it, I paid $649 per night for a room with a balcony facing the pool?? I got this old and small room with a broken door and a balcony facing a construction in the rear parking lot. The elevator was broken and from desk staff was not friendly. I left and move to another facility after my first night and canceled the rest of my state at the double tree.

The hotel looks a bit old from the outside but the rooms are clean and the pool is very nice! The staff are also very welcoming and the hotel offers regular shuttles into the tourist-y areas of town. The room, however, was missing a hairdryer and the hotel only had one elevator working the week of New Year's when the hotel was fully booked.

The shower was not hot, the walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors, cigarette smoke kept coming into our room from the balcony area, and the noise from the airplanes leaving and landing at the airport every 5-10 minutes was less than ideal.

It was good. The room was questionable in that there was a vent that looked as though it was taped into place. What was definitely not to my liking was the clump up goose feather comforter. I think I got an allergic reaction from it, kinda gross. The breakfast buffet was good so there was that, yay The elevator was broken and could not be used for a good part of my trip, not terrible because it wasn't too crowded when we went. We just had to walk a bit more in that our room was on the other side of the hotel. And... last but not least the hot tub was inoperable. Oh wait... I forgot to say in addition , the food service at the pool was inefficient and it took close to an hour before we were served. Also be wary when you go to check out they put an automatic 20% tip for said food service. So..inquire so you aren't double tipping.
