This resort consists of lush, tropical gardens, grills for cooking that fresh fish that you will catch or buy from the local seafood market just blocks away and 2 pols, jacuzzi and tiki bar that serves drinks and breakfast and lunch as well complimentary coffee in the morning. This cozy and historic cottage has a kitchen, living room with a fold out queen size sleeper sofa, a queen bed in the bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bath with a shower and tub. There is a front door with street access to Eaton street, across from the historic Tropic movie theater, or enter your cottage through the gardens and adult pool. This refreshing adult pools is literally 6 steps from your back porch. Perfect for an early morning swim or a quick dip just before bed.
There is a parking space adjacent to the Eaton street entrance that can be used for additional fee (based on availability). You will not need a car, but parking is available on sight for 20.00 a day, a bargain in K.W. Everything is within walking distance or biking, with bikes available for rental at the resort. The beach is a short 5 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk and famous Duval street is 1 block from your front door. You wouldn’t know it from how secluded and quiet this complex is. Saturday and Sunday of your week is the International Speedboat races with celebrities and power boats from all over the world. Stroll at night to listen to jazz and blues and people watch or dance to the music 3 blocks away at Hemingway’s Sloppy Joe’s or Hog’s Breath Saloon. The sampling’s of Key Lime pie are endless, as well as fabulous restaurants with a variety of cuisine for everyone along with Happy Hour specials. Visit art galleries, wine and rum , bourbon and cigar bars and much more are all right there on Duval. Spend your days by the pool, out sailing, snorkeling, kayaking among the mangroves or fishing only to sail back into port to catch the famous K.W. sunset from your boat. The staff at The Banyan will help you find just what is right for you. There is also a 24 hour security guard and cameras that monitor the grounds with locked access after sundown.
