Comfortable and peaceful stay. Pet friendly and a beautiful location. The blue lights along the driveway and stairs made our entry after sunset easy and safe. We were texted instructions before checking which helped a lot. We’ll stay here again on our next trip through.

Very easy and friendly check in process. The room is spacious with a separate sitting area from the bedroom. The unit has high vaulted ceiling making it even more airy. We are late October so cannot speak of the outdoor amenities. But this was a cozy place during a cold fall evening!

We had a very enjoyable 3-day stay. The room was very clean and spacious, we even enjoyed our morning coffee at the cute patio set right outside our room. Parking can be a little tricky if you have a truck, but we will definitely stay there again.

Room was cozy/comfy but the room above us was loud. Anytime someone would walk it sounded like they were moving furniture. Can hear everything. The furnace/AC unit is also very loud and looks very old-needs cleaning. The bed sheet on one of the beds was stained. I put the other sheet on top of it just incase it wasn’t clean. Otherwise nice location, for the most part was a clean room.

We really enjoyed the ambience of the property. The individual rooms were very unique. We would have enjoyed the common area as it’s beautiful but it was raining.

This is a hidden gem! Comfortable rooms with a lake view! Great take out restaurant plus ample outdoors space and balcony for each unit. A short walk to the beach with a swim dock and playground. Will stay here again! 😀

A quiet picturesque spot tucked away. Though just barely off the highway, it is entirely quiet and serene. Room was nicely done and spacious! Luxury vinyl flooring meaning no carpet adds to the cleanliness score. Parking area is adequate and close and hidden from passersby. Beds were comfortable with nice linens. I don’t know enough about the local market to comment on the affordability of this room, but judging by the occupancy rate today, it’s probably worth what they are charging.

The air conditioning unit/heat unit was filthy and disgusting~full of so much dust that we breathed it in for our entire stay. Otherwise, the room was clean.The Owner acted as if he had never seen us before every time we came in to order Chinese food and/or check in and check out. I asked him to throw my garbage away and he said that they don't have a garbage even though they have a full working kitchen!! How is this legal? They also don't recycle which is absolutely despicable in this day and age! He told me that nowhere in Kenora recycles which is clearly not true~there are recycling bins all over Kenora. Educate yourselves people! Lastly, the Owner complained when I asked for a couple of extra small packages of sauce for the Spring Rolls, saying that the sauce doesn't come with them.. We just spent 5 nights at your Motel, ordered your Chinese Food for 3 nights, and this is the treatment we get?! Cheap Cheap Cheap. Learn some Hospitality Skills. Thank you
