Room is cute. Lakeview is beautiful. Worth noting the restaurant is closed for renovations. On hotels.com it states $300 deposit at check in (which is quite high) after expressing $300 On line front desk still requested $400. When parking an alarm on vehicle near went off. Was accused of touching it! Adamant I did not. Brought up again and I asked to go out and look together but staff declined saying maybe I touched it with my back pack? Also no.

The hotel is a walking distance to Safeway and shoppers. The hotel does not have a restaurant as it is under renovations, but you can drive out to fast food places. The room was clean. The furniture in the room is lovely, love the bathroom, and the views out the windows. This place is not bad despite it being in Kenora.

The lobby is very bright and looks like it’s recently received a facelift. The staff was great, check in was easy and parking is well lit, easy to access and monitored 24hrs/day. Room is slightly smaller than I expected but everything appears very clean and new. The property looks even better in person than the pictures.
