Delightful Getaway!

I am from Kennebunk & wanted to have an extended stay (3 weeks…..should have been 4) on my own without relying on family who still live in the area. Found listing for “Whale Song” on VRBO and thought it would be a perfect place especially with the security of being gated. I was not disappointed, from the style of the house to the adorable décor, the pools & friendly people it surpassed my expectations. Had a great time! There truly is no place like Maine!Thanks so much!

Very nice home and location was great

Very clean and comfortable. Minor plumbing issue on arrival late in the afternoon, and Liz was able to get a plumber out quickly to take care of it.

Arundel Cottages Labor Day week

This was the easiest stay we’ve ever had. Everything was there for us: starter kit of soaps, sponge, etc. TP, PT. Beds were all made up, towels and pool towels were provided. It was so appreciated. Check out was a breeze-nothing to do but strip the beds. It was great to not have to rush around cleaning up before we left. We cleaned up after ourselves but nothing more was expected-no having to start a load of washing etc. I felt spoiled :) The construction starting at 7am was a bit annoying though. That’s the only con of our time there. We’ll definitely rent from Arundel Cottages again. The weather cooperated so that was great. Did several day trips to surrounding towns and a trolley tour of Kennebunkport viewing some beautiful homes.

Fantastic!

The house is new and well organized. The resort-like neighborhood is outstanding with the community pool, gym, and recreational game room. If you’re looking for a quiet place only 10 minutes away from Kennebunkport, this is a no-brainer. We’ll be back. Enjoy!

Lovely stay near Kennebunkport

The house was very clean and well maintained. There was no note regarding the location of the lockbox to get in so once we had thoroughly searched the front door area, we eventually found it on the back door (so a note regarding it's location might be needed). The wifi information provided on the check-in information was out of date but a quick text with the management company straightened that out. The home overall was well cleaned and very comfortable. Location was great for Kennebunkport and the Southern Maine locations we intended upon visiting so this was a nice, quiet jump-off point for our travels.

Just Perfect

Cottage/home was beautifully situated in a quiet wooded oasis. We walked the community and felt this lot was tops. Outdoor patio, grill and fire pit made for nice meals alfresco. Cottage is immaculate, airy and spacious. Owners equipped it with top of the line furnishings, cookware and linen/ towels. The community itself is lovely. We took advantage of the pool on the nice afternoons and met some very nice owners. Location is great for day trips. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and chairs. We also used our chairs out back. There is a beautiful picnic table but benches were not that comfortable to sit on for any length of time.
