When we first came to the hotel, the hotel staff said we only had booking for one night instead of week. We then showed them the confirmation. When they finally allowed our room, we found the sheet had a wet stain and when we told them, they said just come downstairs we will give you sheets to change. When we asked them to change our room, the staff became very rude and was rolling her eyes and said that they have to keep the rooms available for any overnight booking and cannot guarantee us anything. The front desk staff was very rude and hostile and started rolling her eyes. Felt very uncomfortable and not welcome. Overall a very bad experience and I hope I never have to stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The location was top notch. My only wish is the shower flow was a little weak, but it did the job.

Unable to stay but expected to pay

Pet was not part of the stay. After visiting the pool, we found the restroom shower soap and shampoo were empty. Thank God we brought our own. In the middle of the night, we found that would not flush properly without overflowing and we no longer had a functioning restroom.No other accommodations were available and noone to fix it. We had to leave in the middle of the night.

Great location; convenient to shopping and restaurants, etc. The cleaning staff was constantly on the move and working hard. However, the front desk staff was absent most every time we were in the lobby. I knew they were close by because we could hear them talking/laughing in a nearby office. We watched another guest stand there for several minutes waiting to check in before a staff member finally appeared.

I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta Katy. It met my needs for my personal visit. I wasn't too impressed when I saw two men smoking at the entry way seated on the curb. Couldn't a smoking area be created elsewhere?
