This hotel is what we call "lipstick on a pig". Its been painted and put in newer furniture, but they didn't address the poor conditions of the hotel itself. My room was musty and smelled of mold, beds were hard and chairs outdated.

It is clearly under remodel, but musty room was outfitted with a dehumidifier! Caught my breath. If I wasn’t so tired I would have navigated reversing Orbitz booking. Breakfast bar was poorly operated/maintained. Not worth even $100 value rate (yet): maybe it will be better (cleaning products/musty/damp rooms corrected?) after remodel is finished.

I selected this hotel to enjoy an outdoor swimming pool. Upon arrival the water was green, water level down and closed off. I understand issues arise, therefore this should always be noted during the reservation process. Dissapointed

Front desk personnel was extremely rude and unfriendly when I first arrived. We were charged a different pet fee than what is stated in the book once we went to our room. I had asked for a room close to the pool as my daughter wanted to swim. When we were getting ready for the pool we realized the pool is pad locked and water if covered in green algae. Upon confronting front desk about our concerns (pet fee discrepancies and pool closed) clerk said the pool has been closed for a week-( but algae growth and water level is showing different) She also mentioned they had raised the pet fee 6months ago and nothing she could do and continued with a call, completely cutting us off. Its frustrating that both expedia and their website state a pool as an amenities however we are unable to use. The front clerk needs better customer service and manners.

Great for the price!

For the price we payed it was a good hotel! I do think they do need fix some things to make it even cozier. Also I recommend that that they have more options for breakfast, overall good stay.

Disappointed stay

I reserved this place for it's location to my grandson's baseball game and the fact it had a pool and breakfast. Walking in i was impressed with the hotels condition and the lobby had a lovely smell. Then we went to our room. It smelled bad and there was what i assumed was a dehumidifier. When you walked on the floor it made popping sounds as if it was buckled from being wet. Then i went to take my granddaughter to the pool and it was closed for maintenance. And would be closed for about a week. The breakfast was mediocre at best. I tried talking to the front desk staff later that night and asked for the manager to contact me. That was on Friday and today is Tuesday and I've not spoken with anyone.
