We stayed a total of 6 nights. The second day we had to ask for fresh towels. We got them from room service who happened to be on our floor. The front desk would not take care of the problem, they told my husband to come down to the desk and get them. Our room was never tidied, trash removed, beds made etc. We asked 1 other time during our stay for clean towels from the staff in our hallway. These ladies were always very kind and helped us right away. We ate breakfast one of the mornings we were there. It was so dark in the area that we, along with other travelers were having difficulty seeing to get food, work devices and get coffee. My husband took out his flashlight and assisted guests! Needless to say, we will not ever stay at this hotel ever again and have passed the word to many of our traveling friends. We come to Kansas City often to see family and wee happy to find your hotel close to where they live. BUT we are sorely disappointed in our stay. Thank you for your time. Kate and Ron Miller

Terrible breakfast low lighting everywhere you looked. It was nearly under construction. Every direction falls in accurate depiction on the websites. The room seemed hazardous. It was terrible for the money we paid.

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. At check-in I asked about early check-in and was told no, but later saw it offered online for $30. My room smelled of smoke and mildew, the counters were dusty, beds looked used, TV was covered in smudges, no hand soap, and barely any toilet paper. Around 9:30 p.m. I heard children screaming, only to find staff’s kids running wild in the room across from mine—jumping on beds and banging on boxes until 10:30. The next morning I was woken by loud banging as staff set up breakfast. The breakfast itself was poorly done—items unlabeled, gravy in a crockpot, and staff couldn’t even get the waffle maker to work. Throughout my stay, the hotel felt chaotic and unprofessional. The hallways smelled like weed, doors were slamming, and in the lobby I had to walk past a loud argument while staff sat by. The indoor pool didn’t seem operational. Overall, this hotel was dirty, noisy, and unsafe. I would not recommend it to anyone—especially families or business travelers. If you’re looking for a rundown, hole-in-the-wall motel, this is it. Otherwise, avoid at all costs.

The price was ok for a 2 day stay, but the property could use an upgrade. The carpets need to be replaced or professionally cleaned. The mattress on our queen beds were sinking in and worn out. The rooms could have been cleaned better.
