Property itself is a little older than the other Home 2 Suites we have stayed at but it was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast selections were good and there was a mostly covered parking area which was nice to have within the city.

Excessive noice/music from the bar across the street from our hotel until midnight. When I called down to the front desk, staff did not offer any assistance. We should have been moved to a room on the other side of the building away from the loud music.

I used to stay here often. I don’t know what happened but it’s really run dow and the beds aren’t comfortable at all. But most importantly… There’s a roof top bar across the street blaring music on a Sunday night. Unless you like the distant sound of bass beat mixed with cars roaring by, you won’t sleep.

Arrived after hours after a long day of travel and delays, exhausted. Rang the bell to be allowed in to go up. waited.. rang the bell, waited.. rang the bell. After 8 long minutes of waiting in the dark on the street. “Do you have a reservation?” No hello or apologies for the wait. Get upstairs to check in. No hello. No hospitality. Just a blunt “ID and Credit Card” it was just one of those things that sucked after traveling for 8 hours with delays and having to be up in 6 hours for work the next morning. Other than that the room and location was great.

Home 2 Suites was a great home base for recent stay to move daughter to KC. The room was large, clean and their staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

When we checked in, there was a storm going on and the desk clerk seemed concerned the electricity might go out. The next day we could not use the pool because of 'lightning.' Not Hime2's fault, but the location was nestled in an area where a lot of unsuccessful attempts at reclamation/gentrification had occurred. Lots of fail businesses. Also, the promised wonderful great breakfast was a mixed bag. Staff struggled to keep up demand for sausage, bacon, and biscuits each day, though I loved the addition of apple compote to accompany French toast and pancakes on the weekend. The yogurt machine, a truly great innovation, was broken on the last day. It would be great effort to include real dishes instead of disposable plates and plastic ware in the name of sustainability.
