I just check out 2days ago. All the front desk staff and restaurant workers are very helpful and nice. This Hotel is in Kananaskis about 25min drive to Canmore and 1hr to Banff. Hotel doesn't offer shuttles. No shuttles run from this place only "Swift" bus public transit and three sisters Taxi. nothings direct to Canmore, Banff and anywhere else. Too far from all my listed places to visit, so I decided to rent my own car via "Turo The helicopter tour ride is on the other side of this hotel. Other than that this hotel is clean and nice.

Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. We had a room with a view of the mountains and enjoyed the sunsets. Very good food in the dining area. They have an attached casino they we enjoyed one evening as well. Very nice and friendly staff. Only a half hour from Banff and less expensive to stay

I hate giving bad reviews. But we were very much disappointed. TV remote wasn’t working with the TV itself. Smelled natural gas in the hallway very early morning and late evenings, towels and sheets had stains. Very tiny toiletries. The bathroom absolutely needs a cleaning rehab, the sink was clogged. It was absolutely disgusting and on top of it the bathroom smell coming out from the every night was making us awake at night.

Spent the days in hikes and mostly spent the nights here. Other than wifi didn't use much of the facilities and boy, is the internet bad... it reminded me of the dial-up days. Unreliable and slow. Area around the property is still being developed so a bit messy right now. No option to dine apart from the in-house restaurant unless you drive for 30 minutes. Not bad but for $300/night I'd expect better.

The View from the rooms was amazing, overlooking the mountains as the sun went down from the room was so peaceful. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Although I didn't have time to visit the casino on this visit, I will be back. As i left in the morning there were horses roaming which made you feel like you really were in a sacred place.

Horrible experience

Where to i start.. check in was good. Friendly staff. Get to my rolm and it is very hot in there. Tried turning the AC on but nothing happened. Ended up having to change the batteries out on the wall thermostat myself to get to work but didnt cool off quick.. there was also a planned power outage and a note left under my door when i walked in about it.. also my door wouldn't lock all the way. Felt very unsafe and uncomfortable specially for the price we paid.. they did issue some money back once we completed about the power outage and that was nice but definitely not an enjoyable stay. Even had wild horses running the parking lots was afraid i would go down to my motorcycle knocked over by one.

The hotel was nice, as was the restaurant but limited outside options. Only activity available was gambling, which is not our thing. Clean and although they say pet friend, they were not very accommodating or accepting to pet accommodation. Tried add additional fees for pet other than nightly pet fee. Plenty of parking.
