the room was great but it was so cold when we checked in that it took us over an hour to warm up the room to an acceptable level. We were told that they were having central heating problems. I think they could have waived the parking cost to compensate for that inconvenience.

Room was good, Staff was good, but we asked about the adjoining Pool hall Mulligans. They didn't know much about it hours or anything. We planned to come back there after to end our night and Mulligans had a private event SO IT WAS CLOSED TO PUBLIC. Would have been nice to know that. I believe the Hotel with an adjacent business with an entrance inside your own lobby you should have information on that company as many people book certain places for the closeby shops, restaurants, and stores.

I love the historic nature of the place. Almost 100 years old. Oldest elevator in Kamloops. The room was incredible. It was big. King size bed. Sofa and desk. Bathtub and shower. They recently renovated and kept the historic feel.

Good location downtown but very noisy at night if your room is on the 4th ave side. There is an outdoor speaker playing the music from the pub. Hot water in the shower/tub was randomly hot and warm. Our secondary lock on the door was broken and therefore non functional. Pay close attention to where you park if you pay for hotel parking. They have a small sign at the front desk (that’s easy to miss if you’re not at the right side of the desk) showing where the hotel parking is. It is basically one big lot that’s part private lot, part hotel lot. When there’s lots of snow it’s easy to not see where one ends and the other begins. Staff should warn you verbally when you pay for parking at check in. From desk girl was not about to do anything to help me resolve my ticket

Yes it was very bad for a hotel! I was lied to online about that place being a 4 star hotel but it ended up being a 1star motel and my wife had refuse to stay there because it was old and run down very bad iwas run down
