My wife and I stay here when ever we are in Joplin and will continue to. Nice room, friendly staff, and great breakfast. This trip we stayed in a room with a walk-in shower. My wife has some mobility issues and this makes using the shower much safer. Unfortunately when you use it, it can flood the bathroom floor unless you take some extreme precautions.

I wish the listing would have better stated the motel rather than hotel. The floors felt nasty. As much as one would like to think leaving the seat up after cleaning the toilet bowl is a good thing it’s gross to me to have to touch a community seat. The bed was firm. Although this is not a best western issue, my adjoining room guests tried to see if they could get in my door in the middle of the night. Which this lead me to the awareness of no door sweep to help not show another rooms light coming through the bottom and jams of the doorway; which is a best western issue. The air unit was busted in some areas but also made an incredibly loud noise in the middle of the night just as I was getting to sleep from the door incident.
