Some receptionists’ English is difficult to communicate or understand. We asked whether there is any mint tea, she said she would send some to the room soon. After 20 minutes no one came and a second called was made, she sent housekeeping to deliver some quilts to our room. A third call confirmed that she did not understand what mint tea was.
We got an opened-packaged soap, dry noodles on chair and some hair as souvenirs during the stay.

Staff was not at all cooperative. The house keeping didn’t clean our room, breakfast menu was terrible and service was slow. Coffee machine was out of order for a day during our 4 night stay. Washroom near the lobby was dirty.

Easy walk to the bus stop across the street if heading into NY. However, the night we arrived the air conditioning wasn’t working, the phone wasn’t working, and the refrigerator was barely cool. Maintenance came up but spoke little English so it was hard to communicate. The air slowly started to cool if we put it on 61 or 62. He brought a new phone but it didn’t work either, so it was a line issue. Not much concern about not having a phone, but refrigerator and air was less than ideal. I was told they were booked and there was nothing they could do to switch rooms. When asked if I could get reimbursed anything for air not working, I was told the manager was out of town. Not sure I would stay here again.
