Vacation like they did back in the day at this charming Smith Lake cabin, where life is a little slower, the views are wide open, and the lake is the star of the show.

Situated on a flat double lot with beautiful open-water views, this classic 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat is located on one of the widest stretches of Smith Lake. Spend your mornings enjoying coffee on the large covered porch, your afternoons on the water, and your evenings watching the sun set over the lake.

Inside, the cabin features vaulted ceilings, classic lake-house charm, and everything you need for a comfortable getaway. Each bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room sofa opens into a sleeper for additional guests.

The second bathroom and shower are located in the separate laundry area just off the carport, perfect for rinsing off after a day on the lake or dealing with wet swimsuits.

Outside, enjoy the spacious yard, lake views, and a patio area with a grill and chiminea; ideal for relaxing after a day of swimming, boating, or exploring.

Located on the Walker County side of Smith Lake, between Duncan Bridge and Duskin Point marinas, with paved roads and convenient access to groceries, restaurants, and a hardware store just about 10 minutes away. Birmingham is approximately 55 minutes away, and Huntsville is about 90 minutes.

Come unplug, slow down, and experience Smith Lake the old-fashioned way.

The host was fantastic and let us check in early on Thanksgiving so I could use the kitchen for some last minute cooking! The view is amazing and made remote working my half day Friday so much easier! Jenny and the cabin were exactly what we needed! Thanks again for everything and we’ll definitely book again when we come back into the area!
