The carpet inside the room had stains and there was an odd smell but everything else seemed to be clean. I couldn’t leave the balcony door open because the screen door was broken. I understand that the hotel is going through renovations but the outdated rooms should be heavily discounted imo.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Forest Park Hotel. Beds were super comfy, large clean rooms. Hotel lobby is so inviting. Located about 5 minutre drive from centre of town. We would definitely stay here again.

Our first room at this property was in the old section and was not comfortable. When we rechecked in for our final night we got the new section and it was like a different hotel! Great location, on site food, staff was outstanding and very helpful.

We stayed at Forest Park after a long day on the Columbia Falls Parkway. The hotel itself is beautiful. It was a nice, serene place in the mountains. Don’t be afraid to go to Jasper! Mother Nature is already restoring what was burned in last summer’s fire.

Convenient location on the edge of town so much quieter than other locations. Easy walk to town, lovely mountain views. The pool hot tub area was really nice. Rooms roomy and super clean.

Forest park is an ok hotel, nothing amazing. My stay went well until the moment I checked out. At check-in they charged my card for the full amount of the stay + a deposit, and although they said it was just a security deposit, the amount was charged from my account immediately. Then at check-out they charged again for the full amount of my bill ($2000}, and said it wasn't a double charge and I would be refunded. This was on the 30th August and I'm still waiting for the refund. This affected my finances and the rest of my holiday in Canada. Very upsetting and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Impossible to contact them as there's no contact email on the website, only an online form, which I used a week ago and still have no reply.

This hotel has great history. But no Ac, TV or refrigerator. The main area is woderful and where we spent all of our time. The hotel room was bare and bathroom/shower was small. It would be helpful if there was at least a shelf or hooks in the bathrooms so we didn't have to put everything on the floor.

This was a lovely hotel, clean room and friendly staff. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night there and it was very reasonable and delicious. There were chairs and a fire pit out front with a beautiful view of the mountains, which was so relaxing after dinner. We would stay here again for sure!
