The pine bungalow location is excellent with nature and very relaxing free firewood for us to use. The location is only a one minute drive to Jasper town. We enjoy all the amenity, except we would like a microwave for convenience. All in all staff were nice and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay.
Amazing place to stay in Jasper that has the feel of being remote but is a stones throw from Jasper town. We stayed in a King Cabin and it was extremely comfortable, clean and cosy. They kindly provide fire wood each day for using the fire outside, and you can buy s’mores kits in the reception. The restaurant (Kumama) on site is amazing and some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and would stay again
I stayed in a cabin with a king and twin bed. The room was very comfortable. There was a mini fridge and tea/coffee area. Check in and Check out was easy. The pulled pork benny was delicious! I also love that the cabins are situated right next to the river, a great place to walk along.
Pine Bungalows is a gem in Jasper. Love the cabins with their own fire pits and closeness to the Athabasca River for morning views. Staff are lovely as is the food and provisions available. My go-to spot to stay!
I was able to bring my mom and aunt for a visit again to Pine Bungalows after they began visiting in the late 40’s when the property was under the ownership of the Walkendons. They enjoyed reminiscing and trying to map out where the original cabins were located. It would have been nice to see images preserved from the original cabins, and if we find any from their childhood we will send
The room is spacious and has a rustic feel to it with wooden cladding all around - it makes you feel like you're away at summer camp! Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we loved the creative newsletter provided with useful information and interesting pieces about the property.
We enjoyed our two-night stay. It was a nice location for seeing the sites around Jasper and the north side of the Icefields Parkway. It's a bit more rustic than the other places we stayed on this trip - as they mention, there isn't a TV or wifi (except in the lodge). We loved the scenic views from our bungalow. They give you wood everyday so you can have a fire in the firepit outside your room. They will also light a fire at the firepit near the lodge if you prefer that someone else do it for you. There is a small restaurant on site but we mostly ate out and about during our travels.

Loved the cabin and firepit. Quiet and safe. Beautiful views. Kumama dining was excellent.
Cabins were very clean. The River is within walking distance. We saw coyotes and elk near our cabin. Close to Jasper and Maligne Lake. Bistro had wonderful breakfast!
Was an amazing 3 nights stay in a bungalow at the river. Felt amazing to be in such a peaceful setting close enough to Jasper. There are fire pits and they provide would for the fires. Very cozy and well kept bungalow with a kitchenette. There is a restaurant on site which we visited for a ramen pop-up event and for another dinner.
Would highly recommend a stay at Pine Bungalows!
Only thing it was quite pricey for a room with one bed and no breakfast included.
It was close to town. Loved that they had fire pits for people with just rooms and not cabins. We enjoyed our first fire in nearly 3 months due to no fire burn.
