Welcome to The Crow's Nest, a cozy riverfront loft designed for couples looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of New Brunswick. Located above our detached three-car garage on our waterfront property, the loft has its own private entrance and offers beautiful views of the Richibucto River. While we live in the neighbouring home and share the outdoor spaces, we respect our guests' privacy and are always nearby if you need recommendations or assistance.

Start your morning with a coffee in one of our Muskoka chairs by the water, watch the tide roll in, or launch a kayak for a paddle along the river. Whether you're looking for a place to unwind with a good book or simply take in the scenery, the waterfront offers a relaxing escape throughout the day.

When you're ready to explore, you'll find some of New Brunswick's most beautiful destinations just a short drive away. Spend the day at Cap Lumière, Kelly's Beach, or the Bouctouche Dunes, hike or kayak in Kouchibouguac National Park, or wander through the Irving Arboretum along the banks of the Black River. In the evening, experience Akadi Lumina, where Acadian stories come to life along a magical illuminated forest trail.

A Few Things to Know Before You Book

The Crow's Nest is a private loft apartment located above our detached garage on our 2 acre riverfront property, next to our home. Guests enjoy a private entrance, while the waterfront and outdoor spaces are shared with us.

During the summer months, family may occasionally stay on the property in their RV. While you'll have your own private loft, you may see us or our family enjoying the outdoor spaces.

We also share our property with our friendly dogs, who are often off leash as they enjoy the yard and waterfront. If you're comfortable around dogs, we think you'll feel right at home.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.

Glenn and Deb were excellent hosts! They provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The accommodation is perfectly located near many attractions. Superb. Exactly as advertised, except better. The property is above a garage, so even though the guests nominally only have the top floor, it is much more than a loft. You are the only creatures in the building - private and quiet. Tastefully decorated, sensibly outfitted, and thoughtfully furnished. Would recommend for any couple, in any season.

Beautiful apartment with everything you need. The hosting couple are wonderful and attentive. Molly, my dog had a great time playing with their dog and swimming. We are going home relaxed and plan to come back next summer . We had good weather the with the exception of one rain, thunder and lightning storm. It was at night so it didn't interrupt our day.

Thoughtfully prepared getaway for 2 that is and of itself self-contained. Restaurants and groceries a 5 minute drive away with lots to see and do in the area. Our only regret was not spending enough time on the property. Low tide beach walks and reading books by the river. Living space is on the second floor with views on all 4 sides and a lovely chorus of frogs serenade on warm evenings. Hosts are warm and welcoming, we highly recommend!

We were so happy with this little getaway during these trying times. We are very busy active people, when we got there the loft is so well stocked with everything we needed plus more. Included were puzzles. We poured a glass of wine and started one, kept doing puzzles for two days and just relaxed! Totally out of character for us but so enjoyed! The view is beautiful and sunset is gorgeous. Don’t wait, book it!

Wonderful, private getaway!

I stayed here with my friend and our dogs to go cross country skiing in the park. I have to say, we were both pleasantly surprised at the spacious living area, full kitchen, extra blankets and overall experience. The hosts were so kind and had fresh muffins waiting for us upon arrival. The wood for the fireplace was super dry and easy to light. It’s the perfect home base if you are planning on exploring the area - highly recommend!

The property is in great location on the river. It is very quiet and a good place to walk and just enjoy nature.
