The room was AMAZING - beautiful, clean, lay out was perfect. Staff was kind and accommodating. The shuttle service was fabulous and the breakfast in the morning offered an excellent variety of options. We will definately stay here again when in Fernindina.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superior to most other hotels. The only disappointment was in the cleanliness of the room. It had not been vacuumed before we got there. The front desk did send someoneup the next day but the same pieces of paper and crumbs on the floor were still there when we returned from shopping. When the front desk person brought some clothes hangers to us, we showed her the floor. She apologized and said it would be attended to again, which it was. We were there for two weeks and by the time we left, there was enough dust on the desk and nightstands that you could write your name in it. Doesn't speak well of the quality of cleaning. We also had a roach in the bathroom, which was totally disgusting. We would like to stay again when we return to Amelia in the spring, but are concerned about the cleanliness.

Our room was very clean. However, the air conditioning vent was blowing in our face in bed. The unit was very noisy as well. This made getting a good nights sleep very difficult. The pool was ok but could have been cleaner. On a positive note, the morning breakfast was very good.
