Great location right across the beach and a couple really fun restaurants/bars on the beach. The room was very nice and the pool was large and also very nice and clean. Right next-door is an awesome pizza place. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was average however the staff that we encountered were very pleasant. What would have been a great experience was nullified by the extremely poor mattress and pillows on the bed. Also I will have to complain as most here about the additional $10 per night as a guest to park YOUR OWN CAR. That is something that I would expect at a much nicer hotel with valet parking. Only purpose in my mind is the (unmentioned until you are checking in fee for parking is additional profit for the hotel. It makes no sense to me to be charged $10 every day to park our own vehicle on an almost empty lot then walk up stairs every day we stayed there to our room. This would be a big part of my decision as to whether we stayed there next year on our trip.

I will say the bedroom and bathroom itself was clean and modern, however the exterior photos of the property are nicer than in real time. I’m not sure if we got a room wedged in between construction worker on both sides and above from booking through Expedia, we did notice to the right of us seemed to be regular vehicles. The construction workers were noisy at night and first thing in the morning and it was difficult to fall asleep once woke. Would I stay here again - no. Initially I chose this place for the amenities but I would not want to use it with all the workers around

Upon arrival, the room we were booked in had several issues — some of the lamps were missing lightbulbs, and there was visible rust starting to form on some of the metal wall fixtures. I went back to the front office and explained the situation, and they kindly upgraded me to a better room at the front of the building with a pool view. Overall, I’d rate the place about 3.2 out of 5 stars.

The rooms were gross. There was hair and grime in the tub where it had clearly not been cleaned. There were dust bunnies all over the room. The sink was dirty and had not been cleaned. The hotel is clearly old, but the room was not clean. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We were in town for a half marathon race and just needed a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. While it wasn't the fanciest place, it did it's job. It was definitely conveniently located to everything and the breakfast selection was very good.

Staff very friendly! Fantastic breakfast served. Pool area very nice lounge chairs very comfortable. Love how they let you check out bike, wagons, chairs for free! Big tv in room. The only dislike the room smelled like mildew/ mold. The shower was old and looked dirty. I wore flip flops in the shower. I had to buy a candle to light in the room to cover up smell.

We were in town for a funeral. The staff was sympathetic and allowed a later than usual check out. Room was super clean and bed was cozy. Air conditioning kept the room just above arctic temps which we loved. Breakfast buffet had lots of options and the staff kept the hot food coming. We enjoyed sausage and eggs. Also the country gravy and biscuits were super yummy! Quick walk to the beach for an amazing sunrise viewing. We also enjoyed restaurants Sliders and Vinny’s pizza both steps from the hotel. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived at our room, it started poorly. The door wouldn't open, trying several times. However maintenance came within minutes to help us, having trouble and had to find different solutions. The room was clean for the most part, but there was mildew by the refrigerator which was rusted out, no Kleenex in the broken Kleenex box, cast iron tub scratched and nicked, plumbing fixtures that were old, with finished coming off. The bed was uncomfortable as it was extremely firm, the television volume was up and down, depending on the channel. I would not recommend this hotel.
