We arrived to find out that the hotel couldn’t make key cards to access the doors of the facility. Consequently, we had to be let into our hotel room each time we arrived, which was quite inconvenient. To make matters worse, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. There were water rings in the toilet, along with hair on the toilet seat. There were also several strands of hair on the shower tray. My husband was leery about staying at a Courtyard Hotel, and this visit did not help.

The front desk attendant was great. The power went out in the whole building just as we pulled into the parking lot at 10 p.m. with an infant and a 5 year old! It was only out for a few seconds but all systems were down when we walked in the door. The front desk was very apologetic of our wait, even though it wasn't her fault. She was polite, offered us something to drink while we waited, and was in good spirits despite a stressful situation (card readers were also down so she was having to take all guests to their rooms). The bartender also helped my husband and five year old when they went for a snack and he was great! The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and overall we had a good stay for the night!
