The Room/bathroom was clean, air conditioning was there but preferred open windows, great location for transport; easy access to town, great place for breakfast Just a minute away. If you prefer Starbucks / it’s 3 min away too. Best of all the stuff is so nice and friendly and helpful, you couldn’t ask for more!

I cant express enough how wonderful my stay was, from the wonderful staff Ardalan answering all my questions and booking transportations for me, Mariam for her warm good bye , Sam for the tea and carrying our luggage's. I appreciate you all so much. The room was comfortable and spacious the bathroom was perfect great water pressure. The train station was not even 3 minutes to the stop. If I complaint I would be lying. No issues at all. Thank you!

Sam is incredibly the best host. He offers his knowledge on transportation and sites to see. Always offer you a cup of coffee or water when you arrive back to the hotel.

This hotel is all about its amazing staff. They all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and are so knowledgable and helpful in planning your day. They love spending time with you over a coffee any time of the day. The location is perfect for walking and catching various forms of tranportation. Dont judge this hotel by your first impressions...you walk down an alley to get to it.

Absolutely incredible hotel. It’s so convenient to the cruise port, walkable to bridge to mosques. But what tops this hotel is the service. The staff are amazing, so nice, friendly, accommodating, they make you feel like family. Sam was the nicest, sweetest man and made us feel like the hotel was like home. They have a cute little colony of cats they take care of which was so lovely. This hotel is too notch. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful place.

We had a fantastic stay at Union Port Hotel. Staff was extremely kind and helpful, our room was spotless and large and frequently cleaned. Very easy and short walk to the waterfront and Galata port, with easy access to taxis and public transportation. Not too far from Taksim but the walk is uphill. Not a complaint by any means because it’s still a short 15 minute walk just something to be aware of. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

After spending 5 nights at Union Port Hotel, we traveled to Bodrum but decided to cut our trip short just to spend one more night in beautiful Istanbul. As 3 females traveling together, we already felt safe and cared for during our first stay, so we had no doubt about returning. The staff’s warm service and clear communication made everything easy—from arranging transfers to thoughtful gestures like bringing coffee mate at 2:30 AM. The location is perfect, just steps from the tram and close to Galataport and major attractions. Special thanks to the Owner, and to Maryam, Ardalan AJ, Sam for always checking in, offering recommendations, and making us feel at home. Because of them, coming back truly felt like returning to family. We’ll keep recommending Union Port Hotel to friends and cannot wait to return! 🤗

This was our first time in Türkiye, and as three women traveling together, we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. From the start, communication was outstanding—the staff reached out a week before arrival to confirm details, offered airport transfer (for a fee), and during our stay helped arrange taxis and gave great recommendations. The level of service was phenomenal and always exceeded our expectations. One night at 2:30 AM we mentioned we were out of coffee mate for the morning, and within 5 minutes someone knocked on our door with a handful of packs—that really showed the staff’s care and urgency. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is excellent: steps to the tram, a short walk to Galataport, and only a few stops to Galata Tower, Spice Bazaar, and Sultanahmet etc. We felt safe, welcomed, and truly cared for throughout. Special thanks to the owner for ensuring we felt comfortable, Maryam, Ardalan AJ, for their warmth, great communication, and constant support. Sam thank you for all your recommendations and ensuring we’re ok during our stay!!. Because of them, we even returned to stay again after visiting another city. Union Port Hotel made our trip to Istanbul beyond our expectations—we’ll be recommending it to friends and family and cannot wait to go back! 🤗

The Union Hotel Port is a boutique hotel. It is busy, but does not have the high-volume traffic that larger hotels experience due to their size. Consequently, it allows Sam, Mariam, and other Union Hotel Port staff members the opportunity to extend a personal touch to each of its guests. They certainly made me feel at home, although I was thousands of miles away from home. Union Hotel Port is within walking distance of waterfront shopping, restaurants, boat excursions, the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art, public transportation (tram and subway), and much more. Simply put, the Union Hotel Port is a wonderful stay for travelers who want a hotel that is accessible to Istanbul's many entertainment, retail, and historical sites.

Would absolutely recommend! The communication with staff was incredible. They were so responsive and helped me set up my airport shuttle transport. It was a breeze! They provided unlimited free bottled water which was great. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had all the essentials. Location is perfect. Less than 3 minute walk to the train. Salutes to 🌸Maryam🌸, Sam, and the entire team for their outstanding service — they went above and beyond in every aspect to ensure my comfort and happiness. I recently spent 7 days at the Union Port Hotel in Istanbul. My stay was most enjoyable. A special thanks to Sam and his charming team who were very welcoming and always offered good advice. I would like to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel and the room, which had everything necessary to enhance my stay: minibar, safe, air conditioning, bottle of water, etc. In addition, the hotel is just a few steps from public transport and the funicular. I am already looking forward to my next stay.
