When I arrived to check in, I asked if it was possible to receive a complimentary upgrade, as I am a Gold member with Expedia and had received an email from your team suggesting this benefit. I was informed that an upgrade was available but only for an additional cost of €50. I mentioned that it should have been complimentary, but since I had no other option, I accepted and paid.
The upgraded room was indeed larger, but unfortunately, the bathroom was outdated, with noticeable black marks on the door and on the shower floor.
During my stay, I requested ice but was told that none was available.
On the day of my early check-out, I went for breakfast at 7:00 AM. The chef on duty (a white Turkish lady) told me I could not take anything until 8:00 AM, even though the food was already set out. Her manner of addressing me as a guest was inappropriate and unprofessional. I believe proper training on guest interaction would be highly beneficial. In the end, I was only able to have a glass of milk, despite having paid for a full breakfast.
Another major inconvenience was the noise at night. The nearby restaurant played loud music every evening until 2:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep early due to the volume.
On a positive note, some of the reception staff were consistently helpful, offering water and assistance whenever needed.
