The staff there are such amazing people! However, this property is in need of some major renovations, with issues such as clogged shower drainage, the shower head falling off the holder on its own, clogged sinks, and many others. I can overlook all the various issues in the suite regarding condition and cleanliness but the bathroom plumbing issues made it difficult to stay there. The location is amazing. Would have liked to come back and change my review if they renovate.

Avoid & not appropriate

Positive Aspects: 1) The hotel is centrally located in Istanbul, providing easy access to various attractions. 2) It is conveniently situated near public transport links. 3) The hotel is within a 10-minute walk of a major shopping centre/mall. Areas of Concern: 1) Cleanliness: a) Upon arrival, we discovered blood stains on the bedding. Despite reporting this to reception on multiple occasions, the issue was not resolved. b) We were offered an upgrade to a larger room (additional cost), but the same cleanliness problems persisted in the new room. c) We left our room key with reception as requested, to allow housekeeping to clean the room. However, after being away for 2–4 hours, we would return to find the room not cleaned. Due to the poor cleanliness, we actually got sick during our stay at the hotel. 2) We requested a refund due to the appalling service and lack of hygiene. The staff refused, claiming they “did not understand” our complaint, despite being able to process payments without issue. 3) According to local sources, the hotel is primarily used for short-term or inappropriate purposes, such as sex or one-night stands. This was unexpected and raised concerns about the hotel’s suitability for regular guests. Given this information, we strongly recommend the removal of this listing from reputable booking platforms. We strongly advise travellers to avoid this hotel considering above points and to go with more well known hotels like Hilton/Holiday Inn.
