Wonderful stay at the Hagia Sofia Mansions. Staff was wonderful! The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooms were very clean. The bathroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! Great location! We got around efficiently by calling the from desk for buggy transports down the hill. Loved it! Thank you!

Only thing lacking is fresh American coffee besides expresso. It would be nice even if it’s offered in the main lobby. Shops in the neighbor were very good. The garden restaurant has bad service. We were the only people there for dinner which is making it less fun. I don’t think the hotel should recommend it when it’s that quiet.

I didn’t know that the spa was closed. It didn’t have one central hub. The rooms are spread over to blocks and then several houses along a street. Not enough choice for breakfast, if you didn’t want the traditional Turkish breakfast.

This is the place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of ancient Istanbul. All of the restaurants were great, but Sarnic, magnificent setting in an ancient cistern, was an amazing experience!
