The staff was very nice and had delicious apple tea upon my arrival. They were very accommodating and even coordinated my airport pickup and drop off. I was surprised to find a personal note and a small souvenir when i entered my hotel room. The hotel was also walking distance to the hagia sophia and Blue Mosque. I really felt at home. I would stay here again. Thanks so much!

Lovely decorated hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to all the touristy spots u want to see your first time in Istanbul. Close to tram as well. Excellent hotel staff. Great buffet breakfast. Highly recommend

Hands down the best hotel that we stayed at during our three weeks traveling the country of Turkey. The front desk staff immediately made us feel welcome, preparing tea and treats for us during check in, bringing our bags to the room and even a small gift inside. The room was spacious and my daughter LOVED the traditional Turkish Bath. She didn't want to leave. The rooftop dining was breathtaking at breakfast. The breakfasts were amazing and this was the ONLY place that had a milk alternative for breakfast *hands up!*. It was a 5 star stay - high class service beginning to end. They catered to our two year old and made her stay an entire experience. She got to feed bread to the birds, have her own tea cup, and was spoiled. They also arranged a shuttle to the airport. It's walking distance to all the major sites - two blocks away and actually quiet/private for sleeping. Everything was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend staying here and will send our friends from Canada!

Felt like visiting a Turkish grandma — warm, cozy, and full of charm This hotel stole my heart! It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting a sweet Turkish grandmother. The atmosphere was cozy, warm, and welcoming. The room was small, yes — but it had everything I needed, and I truly enjoyed staying there. There’s a lovely rooftop with a great breakfast and a beautiful view to start the day. Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Istanbul, this one was by far my favorite. Not the fanciest, but definitely the most charming.

Everything about this Turkish styled hotel was great. The staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the manic/amazing old town. We received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful corner suite with views looking out to the Sea of Marmara. Bountiful breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace with seagulls soaring above. Friendly and hospitable hosts. Walking distance to Sultanhamet Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Sultanhamet Square T1 Tram Stop. Truly an authentic and exceptional hotel.

In a beautiful old Turkish house, this hotel provides comfortable and well appointed rooms in an old-fashioned style fitting the building period the staff could not have been more helpful period. Lovely rooftop, indoor/outdoor restaurant.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the excellent customer service. On our last day, we had to leave at 6am so we could not get breakfast. Instead, we were given a to go box of food to take with us. That is very thoughtful and we really appreciated it.

Located within walking distance to The Blue Mosque, as well as plenty of shopping. The staff was great. There is a beautiful rooftop bar that we didn't want to leave. They also hold their breakfast buffet up there. This was our first trip to Istanbul, but I wouldn't hesitate to return to The Dersaadet
