Great Staff! Great location right off the highway and great restaurants and breweries easily walkable from the hotel! Very clean spacious room and it was great they take pets! Will book again next time I come back!

Sunset inn is my favorite hotel in Islamorada

We love staying at sunset inn. It’s so close to all of the fun things in Islamorada. We love walking to Lorelei and the breweries. Rooms are comfy. Coffee situation is great. Pool is awesome. Can’t wait to come back.

Sunset Inn Just What We Needed

Great place, unassuming, quaint, quiet. Friendly staff, housekeepers are like ninjas, stealthy and efficient. Bed was comfortable, shower was perfect, a/c unit not terribly loud. Pool was always clean, warm, inviting. Definitely will return!

We stayed a few days at Sunset Inn and loved it! The rooms were clean, cute, and had everything we needed. We spent time relaxing in the pool, and the convenience of parking right outside the room was a huge plus. It’s also in a great spot—easy walk to some awesome local restaurants and spots around town. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for what we wanted. A centrally located place to explore from. Great price, very clean, comfortable beds. Walking distance to restaurants. Pool and pool area were both very nice. No frills, but none needed. Would def stay again.

Place was clean, and the coffee station was great, but that's where the greatness ends. The rooms don't have microwaves, and the showers are set up so you have to step in to turn them on, and then they spray water all over the bathroom, because there's no covering on the back side. Also, for some reason, the lamps were unplugged when I arrived. Overall, it works, and the price is very competitive fof the Keys, so it was "good enough."

Pretty sure this place flooded and never repaired

The location was great, the woman at the desk was nice and upon first glance the room looked ok. After walking in the room we quickly realized something was not right. The floor was not level and everyone you stepped the laminate moved and made noise. Pretty confident this place completely flooded and the floors were never replaced. The air was very humid in the room which tells me my guess about flooding is prob correct and moisture in the walls. There was ZERO water pressure and it took me nearly 20min to wash the shampoo from my hair. The bed was not comfortable and the sheets were like sandpaper they were so hard and rough. The pillows were tiny and only two on each bed so bring pillows unless you want your neck to kill you for days to follow. Being in a fishing town we went to the ice machine to fill the cooler and were met with several signs saying that we are NOT allowed to fill the cooler or we will be caught on camera.
