I usually do not leave reviews for VRBOs, but David’s outstanding job as a host merited a five-star review. My family’s recently completed trip was the first time we visited Puerto Rico. We had no real expectations or even much of an itinerary, but were excited by the number of beaches and hiking opportunities. We decided on where exactly to stay based on the homes available, and David’s property in Isabela was extremely promising. After 18 hours of travel with two young children, we made it to the house. It was exactly as shown: 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 5 powerful air conditioners, washer and dryer, a well-equipped kitchen, and large backyard. The house is situated on a quiet, gated street with ocean views which are only better appreciated from the rooftop deck. We did encounter a couple of issues, but I was able to reach David immediately by phone and he walked us through resolving those problems. He always followed up later in the day to make sure that everything continued to work properly. This house is perfect if you want a large, quiet place where your family can spread out and relax after a day of exploration. It is a 5 minute drive to a grocery store and 10 minute drive to a number of beaches (all different types!). My only suggestion is to provide room-darkening shades in the smaller bedrooms. The Caribbean sun comes up early!
