All the staff were friendly and professional. Our room #349 has a weird ceiling and my husband needed to be careful not to bump his head on the window-side of the room. There were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel restaurant was very nice too.
The inside of the fabulous Leaky's Used Book Store, just around the corner from the hotel.

Only one person on check in so very slow. One of the lifts was out of order so had a bit of a wait. The room was very small but had low eaves so kept hitting my head. They did say we could have changed rooms but queue at reception made this challenging.

Super comfortable and loved the location. Having an excellent restaurant in the hotel is also great for a weary traveller. The riverwalk is a great way to see Inverness and waking up to the river is just the best.

Would stay again!

So far, this has been the best place we’ve stayed at on this trip! The staff were helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the amenities were lovely. I only wish that the lodge door could be fixed so that it doesn’t slam. When the entrance door was closed, our room door shook. As a light sleeper, this was not ideal for me. Otherwise, the blackout curtains and mini fridge were nice features.

The location was great, the bed was way to firm for our taste. I didn't get much sleep at all. The place was mostly clean (Some random hair and an exceptionally large spider) but the staff was great, it was super walkable.

Nice, but crowded

Room was lovely, nice that it had A/C which is not common in Scotland generally. The dining area was very dirty with food crushed on chairs. Breakfast service doesn’t exist which is definitely needed at least for coffee because the tour groups pack in and it makes breakfast a hassle.
