The front attendant was spectacular checking us in as well as the valet! The whole place was clean and amazing to look through the halls of Union Station! Our rail chair was comfortable and really felt like staying in one. Some minor misses like a glass drink sat next to our door the whole time from a previous guest and the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was ice cold, but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Historic Hotel, and if you ask, they will show you where the old portion of the train station is. Can see what the place looked like in the early 1900's. Very cool. Great staff. Room service was awesome. Would book again in a heart beat.

Wonderful experience overall! I remember staying at Union Station as a kid, and it's just as magical as I remember. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful venue, and very well put-together breakfast. Definitely going to be visiting again in the future!

We stayed in a train car this time and it was so unique! Hotel was spotless clean, staff was nice and so fun, great with the kids, restaurant was delicious. This hotel has SO much cool train and rail history, it's really a hidden gem! Only downsides: the Illinois ballroom and old station wasn't open because there weren't any events going on down there. Wish we could have seen that area again. #2: be prepared if you stay in the blue train that a REAL train may come through in the middle of the night and scare you to death! Haha We didn't realize we were on the side closest to the active tracks. It was just once overnight and the kids slept right through it, but I guess it added to authentic railroad experience. 😂
