I read so many reviews that exaggerated cleanliness and I thought maybe they were purchased, but no, this was the CLEANEST room I've stayed in. No exaggeration, this place is spotless. I loved staying here and felt so comfortable thanks to the state of the room. The layout was spacious and open, there is a private balcony that leads to the fire escape, and the AC worked wonderfully.
No shoes allowed in the building, which helps keep it germ free. Checking in was easy and the owner was very kind, he showed me to my room then returned 5 minutes later with a welcome drink (kumquat tea) and plate of fruit with spice mix. It was unexpected and a nice touch.
I loved it so much, I booked an extra night directly with the owner and paid in cash. I needed to go to the atm and he let me borrow his bike to get there. Laundry service was available and ready the next evening.
Netflix availability was a bonus, so I could put on my favorite K drama and find some time to rest. I only have good things to say about this homestay and the family who runs it. It was a highlight of my trip to Vietnam.
