They were painting so walls were wet and the paint smell was not great. Paint carts and drop clothes were here and there. If you are looking for a modern experience it is not this place, the overall feel was it was run down a bit. Staff was nice. The room was clean so that was a positive. Location was good, two long blocks to a nice open mall. Note that there is an early check in fee of $25 was new to me. No breakfast, I thought there was so that is on me for not confirming that. Look at other choices is my recommendation, you can probably do better for a few extra bucks.

Our overall experience at the hotel was positive. The accommodations were comfortable, the staff was courteous and professional, and the property was well-maintained. However, we were not informed prior to booking that the hotel was undergoing remodeling. While the work did not significantly impact our stay, it did create some minor inconveniences and noise during certain times of the day. Transparency about ongoing renovations would have been appreciated. Despite this, we still found the hotel to be a pleasant place to stay and would consider returning once the updates are complete.

For the price, you get what you pay for. I should not expect five star, but there is no way I could give this space a good review. How/why in the world would they think that paint pales, trash, and loose construction matters just splayed out in customer egress areas is a good and safe look? I literally had to just close my eyes and walk in. The place literally gave cheap, inner city, motel vibes.

Even with new construction at this hotel, they had everything well-maintained and cleaned. Parking is tough for anything over the side of a pick up truck at this time due to new construction, but they will accommodate.
