This was likely on of the worse stays I’ve ever experienced. I ended up checking out early due to bugs seen in the room and the only response from staff was “okay” in regards to the issue. I was traveling with my two young kids and special needs cousin and this was horribly inconvenient and damaging to our vacation. The staff was rude. I entered for breakfast with my children at 8:46 pm and most food was depleted. When I asked the lady if there was more sausage available, she rudely stated no, breakfast ends at 9. Yet I saw her smile and greet people coming in after 9am. There was a couch with a cover in the room that looked like it was never washed(should have left then). I would not recommend anyone staying here. This place was worse than staying at a motel. I have stayed at other Sonesta hotels and never had this experience.

This hotel could really use some upgrades, the carpet was stained, and the walls were dirty and cracked. We could have overlooked those things, but what truly shocked us were the gunshots that woke us up around 5 a.m.

This hotel is wrongly rated as 3-stars and needs to be re-evaluated. The overall hotel is in a dilapidated state. The first room I was given (#317) had molding on the ceiling and by the windows. This room is a clear health hazard. I asked to be moved to another room and got (#314). The writing chair was broken, which was later replaced. The tank of the toilet was broken and leaning forward, and the handle of the flush was broken, making me lift the lid and readjust it every time. Despite putting in a complaint, it was not resolved during my two-night stay. The photos of the bathroom are inaccurate; they are not upgraded as shown and are missing the most basic of amenities for a 3-star hotel. Other inconveniences included loud noise from the AC unit all night, the AC unit is next to the writing desk blasting cold air making it uncomfortable to get any work done, no luggage rack, no towel racks (you could see the holes in the wall where they might have been), no bodywash in the dispenser that I realized in the morning during the shower, and I had to call and wait an hour for someone to bring some to my room. The overall condition of the room was in a sad state (peeling paint, uneven floor). The only saving grace is the location, but there are other hotels in the area, and I would not stay here again.

The room was convenient & clean, but very outdated & old. None of the plugs worked on both sides of the bed, so we couldn’t charge our phones while looking at them in bed. Also, the bathroom door awkwardly clashes with the toilet area and it makes it very cluttered & weird. One more thing they need to improve on: those awful polyester sheets! It's like sleeping on fiber glass! A real bummer!
