The hotel is in a great location for everything you need. Our room provided a comfortable respite and the staff made us feel the true Aloha spirit. The housekeeping staff is exceptional. Each day when we returned from exploring the island we found our room clean, fresh and inviting. The pool side restaurant is another plus, we really enjoyed the breakfast and coffee offerings they provided before we headed out each day. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel pool but really enjoyed the comfortable seating and the hot tub. GREAT HOTEL! I'd definitely stay again.

The location was excellent and the room itself was comfortable and well appointed. However, the overall experience was average. After an 11-hour flight with a toddler, we arrived early and were told the only way to check in early was to pay $100. Prior to arrival, early check-in had been described as subject to availability, but it became clear that availability didn’t matter unless you paid. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at with such a policy and it made for a poor first impression. Check-in was inconsistent. We had a pleasant staff member, while our friends, checking in at the same time right next to us, had a very negative experience with a staff member who seemed like he didn't want to be there. A 4am fire alarm highlighted further issues with a poorly managed evacuation process with no clear communication from staff. Finally, it was disappointing to later receive an email offering a 10% discount to hotel guests for the Auana by Cirque du Soleil show, after I had specifically asked on two occasions before booking tickets whether any guest discounts were available and was told there were none. Overall, location was great, amentities and service average. I also don’t really understand the purpose of the additional resort fee, which wasn’t well explained.

The fire alarm kept me up. Instructions to exit the building no elevator. Kind of difficult to evacuate 9th floor on stairs. I’m confined to a wheelchair so evacuating is impossible.

It was a great experience at Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Pros - Location, Very Helpful staff, Cleanliness, lots and lots of fun activities nearby, very close to beach, Not too far from airport as well, Valle parking was expensive but effective and safe the parking staff was amazing and great too, very quick service Cons - Not too many, however if just want to point out, room sizes are just a bit smaller compared to other locations. Would highly recommend it for families!!
