Smelled like a rusty tin can. Elevators are elderly. Staff are nice. Pool is desparate. Everything is an upcharge. Location is good but not worth it. Pay more for a better experience.

Nice area…souvenirs nearby.. patio was beautiful. Pool area was clean and well kept. What I did not like was the additional amount of money you had to pay for a later checkout. Yes I understand they have to make money, but I just thought the amount of money for staying later was a little much.

I booked Park Shore because it was closest to an event I was going to at Waikiki Shell amphitheater. Last hotel on the street and right across from the beach where it is not as crowded as in the "heart" of Waikiki. Lots of food options right there, and an ABC store (is it required??). Everyone who worked there was super nice, friendly and helpful. They sent me a text after check-in and said I could contact them by replying any time. I did have questions and they responded very promptly. I went for the "oceanfront" which of course was across the street and up 9 floors so I would say "full ocean view" would be more accurate though I did not expect to walk out to the ocean. It was a fantastic view and I enjoyed sitting out on the little deck. Glad I chose that and would recommend unless you aren't going to spend any time in the room. Beds were very comfy. I could hear road/car noise but always travel with my earplugs anyway. Kind of surprised me it wasn't more soundproof. The hotel seemed like maybe it was designed in the 60s and while updated, rooms were smaller than I expected and had kind of an older vibe. But, I felt it was a good value for the price so I am 100% happy and for sure would stay there again.
