Hotel is old outdated and dirty but it’s close to the beach and affordable. Staff is friendly (mostly) and the bed was comfortable. AC worked decently. Good for anyone wanting to stay near the beach on a budget.

Very kind helpful staff. The room did smell like mildew, which is to be expected with the humidity. Regardless, my overall stay was great. Wifi, kitchenette. Very convenient location near Waikiki beach.

The plus side of staying at the EWA Waikiki hotel is that your in the best area for everything you need especially if you plan on walking , even if needing to uber everything is a couple mins away , the down side of this place is if your wanting to stay at a place where you have a connecting door and can hear people have sex . Play loud music & conversations day then this is the place for you & if you call downstairs and ask somebody to come defuse it even if it’s before 10 pm or after 10 the doors are so thin that I knew for sure that they never sent anybody up so not much you can do about it, got switched into a room that was being remodeled with no carpet , the tv was behind the bed so if you wanna watch tv you would have to lay backwards, went to put my waters in the fridge and noticed there was a roach in and out of the fridge area so I called again with my cellphone because this room had no phone , got moved back to my original room because the people had checked out , the room was fine had no issues other then the people next door , my last night there I had a early flight woke up a hour earlier to find out the building had a partial power outage so only one part of the room allowed me to continue to charge my phone so I could access my flight code and get a uber , so had to walk down 7 flights of stairs to meet my uber , so overall the hotel was kinda the down fall of my trip but because the area was perfect for me And didn’t seem like I was gonna get my $800 back .
