"The casino is a great place to stay just off the highway in Hazel Crest/Homewood. However this is the second time I booked with Expedia that the hotel did not recognize that I paid for my stay in full in advance. Last time I did not know this and was charged twice for my stay - once when I paid thru Expedia, and once when the hotel charged my credit card. It took me a little over a week to get this situation corrected and the duplicate payments refunded to me. This time, knowing what happened before, I noticed right away that they wanted me to pay again for the stay. I had all of my confirmation documents and credit card activities related to my prepayment. The front desk person quickly got a manager involved and apparently there is something on their check in screen that did indicate that I paid through a 3rd party. So, this time I did not pay twice because I was aware of the confusion they have over 3rd party bookings. Aside from this, the hotel is clean and quite and we will be staying there again -- with confirmation documents in hand just in case.."
