The best hotel checkin experience anywhere - ever! Our host Sabina gave us the warmest welcome, showing us to our room, and ensuring we knew about our complementary breakfast and anything we might need to know. The Macquarie Hotel is in an excellent location. As a historic building, it is a little quirky but charming. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in supplying breakfasts when I needed to leave early in the mornings or to check in later in the evening after the reception was closed. They were also very helpful with my laundry needs. I would very much recommend the Macquarie Hotel for a great stay at a reasonable price.
