This hotel is beautiful and classy. It is so reminiscent of the past having celebrated 100 years, yet fresh and spacious. It is in an amazing location 3 blocks from the Opera House, and Nguyen St with all its restaurants and shops. The breakfast is a feast for the eyes, endless choices, indoors or outdoors. Staff was so kind and lovely with our requests.

The Majestic was in incredible condition considering we happed to be staying during its 100th anniversary!! I had stayed in the Majestic, and the nearby Dong Khoi hotels back in the early 1990’s, and I was thrilled I could bring my family here at this time for Christmas, and they could enjoy the Majestic as well. The Dong Khoi hotel seems to be closed, but the original Beautiful building still exists which is Great! The Majestic’s hotel staff, from the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, to the Restaurants, and the pool/gym could not have been more helpful and nice. We Will be back!! (It’s our daughter’s new favorite hotel, so Thank you!) Have a Fantastic New Year (2026), and All the Best!! Bruce

The breakfast buffet is very good even though the varieties are limited to Western foods. Coming to Vietnam we expect they would serve more local foods like freshwater fish. But only fruits are local. Nearby food outlets like Nhu Lan are very handy and cheap.

It’s a historic hotel and in a good location. We enjoyed the balcony in our room, watching the rush hour traffic I Ho Chi Minh. The room is old fashioned and has comfortable bed.

Rooms are dated and in need of renovations. A portable humidifier is in the room to lower the humidity level. The bathtub / shower is a challenge to make work and you need be be careful not to slip and fall in the tub. The gym is extremely dated. The hotel has the opportunity to be 5-stars. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is good. Time to renovate.

I go to Ho Chi Minh City every year and I've always stayed in this hotel. It has real character to it. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The rooftop bar is fantastic to have a drink at night time.

Everything about the Hotel Majestic is a peaceful recharge to your visit. There are staff that can help you with EVERYTHING! Wonderful touches in the rooms. Wreaths for Christmas on your door.
