From the text message I received on the day we were to check in straight through the time we checked out three days later, our experience was PERFECT. The level of detail when we opened the door (room lights on, soft music playing, decorated immaculately) I was impressed. The few communications with the owner showed that they cared far more than most hotels...this place was their baby, and they'd give the shirt off their back to make sure your stay was pleasant. It's an older property, but that was half the charm. I would 100% stay at this property if ever I end up in the Finger Lakes region again. A++++!!!

An Unassuming but Great Place ot Spend a Weekend

A very clean and peaceful Inn. Very convenient to the wineries abt both Seneca and Keuka Lake. Our stay was comfortable and uneventful.

The Savannah House was perfect for our 45th Wedding Anniversary and Visiting our favorite Wineries. The Room decor was cozy and welcoming . The condition of the room was Immaculate . 5 stars for cleanliness ⭐️. The Staff was extremely accommodating and answered all our questions with immediate response, giving wonderful suggestions for dining. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a stay along the Seneca and Keuka Wine trails Also don’t miss the Wager Cider Mill and the Spotted Duck Creamy voted the Best Ice Cream in Upstate NY. They use only Duck Eggs to make their amazing Ice Cream🥰

The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit difficult to manage with the water splashing out uncontrollably after pooling on the shower seat. Also, it would be good to have a slip proof mat on the shower floor being that the floor of the shower was very slippery. Otherwise, Jeff was very helpful and had many suggestions for places to see.

Beautiful gem with a lake view

Our room was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings and watching the deer with the view of the lake. The building is an old motel so I was a little concerned when we pulled up but the rooms were decorated like an elegant B&B and included everything we needed. It included a mini fridge with a decent sized freezer, microwave, coffee pot, towels, soaps, ceiling fan, bedside tables and lamps, 2 chairs in the room, portable tray tables, patio chairs and table on the deck, Adirondack chairs in the yard, TV, WiFi, wardrobe, chest of drawers. We never saw the host. He texted us when our room was ready and gave us the door code. He was available via text or phone if we needed anything but we never needed to contact him.

Quaint & Quiet

We've stayed at Savannah House several times and it has always been a WONDERFUL experience. The quaint rooms are beautifully decorated, and the sunrise lake views are a great way to start your day. The innkeeper, Jeff, is always very friendly and helpful.
