This beautifully renovated villa has been fully updated from the walls in, including brand new HVAC systems, creating a modern and luxurious coastal retreat. The kitchen is truly a standout, featuring fully custom cabinetry, GE stainless steel appliances, and elegant leathered quartzite countertops. A unique feature of this villa is the removal of an entire kitchen wall section, creating an open layout with bar seating for four. The adjacent dining area comfortably seats eight, making it perfect for gatherings.

The living area is thoughtfully designed with a beach contemporary theme, complete with a 58" HD Smart TV and sliding doors that lead to a private deck overlooking the scenic Palmetto Dunes 11-mile lagoon system. Just off the kitchen is a full-size laundry room and a small office that doubles as a half bedroom, equipped with a daybed and HD Smart TV. Also on the first floor is a guest bedroom with two Queen beds, a 55" HD Smart TV and a guest bathroom that includes a granite vanity and a tiled tub and shower combination.

Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms. On the right is another guest bedroom with two Queen beds, a 55" HD Smart TV and a beautiful en-suite bathroom featuring a granite vanity and a walk-in shower. Straight ahead is the spacious Primary suite, offering a king bed, 55" HD Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a granite double vanity and a tiled walk-in shower.

The private deck offers serene lagoon views and is outfitted with a dining set. The beach is just a 12-minute walk or a 2-minute bike ride away, with convenient parking located next to the Disney Beach Resort. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived the AC unit was not functioning. It was 80+ degrees inside. We had to call management to address. As they were unable to get the AC company out that day (check in was at 4) we had to make do with a portable unit and box fan. The sliding glass door was incredibly difficult to open and close. We had maintenance come out to try to address midweek as the kids were unable to open/close on their own and some of the adults were struggling to help. While the repair helped to a degree it was still abnormally difficult. The ice maker and water filter on the fridge needed a filter change and the ice maker did not function correctly - we called to report for repair and a bag of ice was brought to the unit. 3/5 for cleanliness. We have rented on HHI every summer and this was our least favorite experience. Check in/out was easy, it was no difficult to reach the helpline, service members who came by the villa were friendly. For the cost of the villa, I expected all components to work on arrival. I spent too many hours of my vacation waiting around for repairs.

Great vacation at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our week there. We played tennis and pickleball almost every day (yes, both on the same day) and we rented bikes. We were in a great location, a short walk to everything! The villa was beautiful, outfitted with very comfortable beds and a large, well appointed kitchen for cooking. The only problems were the smoke detector in the downstairs bedroom chirped and kept me awake at night and the maintenance crew did not fix it. The supervisor tried but did not have a ladder tall enough. It never got fixed. Also, it seemed to need vacuuming as the floors felt gritty right from day one (not from us). Otherwise, a great place to spend a great vacation!
