Staff was great and very accommodating as I needed to modify my stay after checkin. Property is clean but it is a little dated (although that seems common on the Big Island). Easy to get to the national Park from this hotel. There is also a nearby park within walking distance for easy access to the ocean. Recommended for a stay in Hilo.

We loved staying here for the convenient location near U Hawaii Hilo and all the Hilo sites. It’s a great walk around Banyan Dr and the park in the morning. And there is plenty of shade for pool time later in the day once beach time is done. It’s only 7 min drive to the main shopping and dining in Hilo. Great location, clean rooms, and helpful staff!
